Sarah Lambert

Equine Program Director

Sarah Lambert started riding at the age of four and never looked back. She bought her first horse in 2006, a big Haflinger gelding “Delta”, which she still owns. She has been a student of the horse her whole life, with her passion being equine behavior and science. She graduated from SUNY Cobleskill in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in large animal science. Professionally, Sarah has worked in many facets of both the equine and dairy cattle industries. Sarah is in the process of completing her equine specialist certification through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship. Sarah is a supporting member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC) and is currently being mentored by Matthew Doyle under Josh Nichol’s Relational Horsemanship program.

Sarah and her husband own a small equine facility in Andover where she runs “The Life and Liberty Project” for our Veteran and First responder clients. Outside of her work with the therapy program, Sarah is bringing her horse “Rip” with the hopes of finishing him as her first bridle horse. Horses have forever changed Sarah’s life, and she is passionate about helping our clients find their own connection with horses.
