Tori Rand
Equine Coordinator
Tori has had a passion for horses ever since she could remember. Her love for them was passed down from her grandmother, who has been a horsewoman her whole life. When Tori was 12, with the help of her grandmother, she adopted her heart horse Charlie, a 16-year-old Arabian. He is the foundation of a passion that still burns in her and is the reason she is the woman she is today.
Tori has been working since she was 16 at many different horse farms from private facilities to breeding farms to large training and boarding barns. Tori has experience working with stallions, broodmares, retirees, and even foals. She started working as an Equine Veterinary Technician in 2017 until May of 2023 and credits much of her equine knowledge to what she learned during her years there. She believes in listening to each individual horse to understand their needs while also implementing mutual respect between horse and human. At age 17, Tori acquired her first Mustang from a friend. From that relationship, she gained respect and understanding that horses know more about life than we could ever comprehend. As a result, she hopes to pursue a career in owning and rehabilitating wild mustangs in the future. Tori’s love and knowledge of horses allow her the ability to provide them with the best possible care they require and hopes to continue her learning throughout her equine career.
